This map was the first of three distinct maps that were part of a project by the Madeira Orienteering Association.

Machico, already existed and had been elaborated by me for many years and after that it had already been touched several times by some elements of clubs that were trying to update it when they needed it to make an event there.

For this reason, in addition to mapping a totally new part, I also had to redo the old part that was in an authentic confusion of symbols and colors and did not even fit in the current orthophoto.

Now, here is an updated map with twice the area.
